Jean Charles Bonnin

In my opinion, I think that the best on my field is Jean Charles Bonnin. He was a French specialist on public administration in the beginnings of the XIX century. He was one of the first men who defined exactly what the public administration is and he established the principles of how a public administrator must be.
Bonnin had a clear vision about the public administration on his time.He established the principles of the public administration in opposition to the practices that where development in the period of the Absolute Monarchy. He thought that the employees of the monarchy government were proud, indifferent to the public happiness, unconcerned of their obligation and that they commit a lot of abuses and humiliations.
He is the best because he formulated the bases of the public administration profession. In his book “Principes d` administration publique” (Principles of the public administration), we can observe important basics principles like: The merit principle, the competence principle and the idea of an employed career. All of these principles watch over to create a better public administrator.

My career

I’ m studying the major of Public administration, because is a profession who have an important place in the society, and a extended labour field. Also, I like it because, I love the city where my department take place. The professionals of my area contribute to society because they are in charge of solve social needs, join technical expert with political decisions, and contribute to make a better government.
A professional of Public Administration, needs to develop a variety of tools for his future: needs to know about law , dominate management techniques, understand economical process, and analyze political events.
My favourite subject is History of the Institutions of Chile, because we have to: analyze the historical events from a new scientific perspective, understand oldest political decisions, and realize how institutions influence society. Is a very difficult subject, me and my partners have to read a lot, study for weekly tests, and do some “ayudantía” homework. How ever still been very interesting.

U-Cursos

Hello, today I’m going to tell us about a web site related to my career of Public Administration. It is called U-Cursos, and their link is https://www.u-cursos.cl/ .

I found this web site because my Professor of “Introduction to Public Administration” asked us to register there.

When you register in the website as a student of the Universidad de Chile, you can find information about your subjects like marks, exam dates, or teaching material, and also you can upload your own works. So, I use this website really often, especially to get information about marks.

I like this site because is very easy to use, keeps informing about everything of my subjects, and have a nice presentation.

My favourite piece of technology.

My favorite piece of technology is my Notebook PC. It was a present from my parents last Christmas. I guess it was a reward fo all the study I dedicated to the PSU. I used for a lot of things. First, I used to complete or do works of class subjects. Second, I have a webcam and microphone, so is very useful to communicate me whit my family and friends in my hometown. Third, I like to check my facebook and review what are my friends doing, how they feel, view photos and videos of the university events, and inform my self about new events. Finally, I like to work whit design software’s like Photoshop, I’m not very talent in that, but is a good activity to relaxing and distract about all the hard work in the university. An example of my intent of design is the headboard of this blog, I hope you like it.
I like my notebook because make everything easiest, they are not very modern, of have a lots of new things, but almost for me is very practice and easier to use. They are a bit heavy, but I don’t use to getting whit me to others places, and I like their big screen, is very useful when I see high definition movies.
I think that, my daily live will be a lot boring and difficult without my notebook. I’m not saying that I will die without them, but I think I will miss them a lot.
